She grew up training at the Atlantic City Ballet Theater, the Pittsburgh Ballet Theater, Point Park University and in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance program at the Ohio State University. She has worked with influential dance artists like Bebe Miller, Esther Baker-Tarpaga, Vera J. Blaine, and Thomas Hauert. She has performed as an apprentice company member for the Pillow Project Dance Company in Pittsburgh, PA, and has served as a core member of Momentum Dance Lab for cumulatively 6 years. Never shy or quiet, Catherine eagerly performed her first solo at age four when other dancers were too scared to be on stage alone. Catherine grew up in Knoxville, training in Ballet and Jazz at Irma Witt O'Fallon and then with Angela Floyd, where she was a member of the Knoxville Jazz Company. It was not until studying at Emory University that she began to understand and fall in love with Modern dance. After taking several years off to recover from an injury and to begin her career as a science teacher, Catherine began training and performing again with Momentum Dance Lab. She is grateful to have found an amazing group of people to help her develop and explore herself as a dancer, performer and choreographer.
